Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28581

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Ahmad Al-Zubayri narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Mughirah bin Al-Numan, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “On the Day of Resurrection, people will be gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised just as they were created.” Then he recited (Just as We initiated the first creation, We will return it as a promise upon Us. Indeed, we will do it.) And the first of the creatures to be clothed is Abraham, and he will be taken from among my Companions. With men to the right and to the left, then I say, O Lord, my companions. It will be said, “You do not know what they did after you, for they did not cease to do so.” backsliding on their heels ever since you separated from them. So I say as the righteous servant said: (If you punish them, then they are your servants, and if you forgive “For them, indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise.” “Muhammad bin Bashar and Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us. Ja`far, on the authority of Shu`bah, on the authority of al-Mughirah ibn al-Nu`man, with this chain of narration, and he mentioned something similar. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
