حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اتَّبَعَ جَنَازَةَ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ مَاشِيًا وَرَجَعَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Abdullah bin Al-Sabah Al-Hashimi told us, Abu Qutaybah told us, on the authority of Al-Jarrah, on the authority of Simmak, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, followed Abu Al-Dahdah’s funeral. He was walking and came back on a horse. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
