Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27248

Humaid bin Masada Al-Basri narrated to us, Bishr bin Al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Khalid bin Dhakwan narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Rabi’ bint Mu’awizh, she said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came and entered upon me in the morning with my sons, and he sat on my bed as you sit with me and our maidens, being beaten. With their tambourines and lamenting those of my fathers who were killed on the day of Badr, until one of them said, “And among us is a prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow.” Then a messenger said to her. God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “Be silent about this and what you said before it.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
