Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27258

Qutaibah narrated to us, Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, who said: I married a woman and went to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He greeted him and said, “Have you gotten married, Jabir?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “A virgin or a married woman?” I said, “No, but a married man.” He said “Come, let’s go to a slave girl that you can play with and she will play with you.” So I said, “O Messenger of God, Abdullah died and left behind seven or nine daughters, so I brought someone.” He will stand up against them.
