حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ وَالْقُرْآنُ يَنْزِلُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ . وَقَدْ رَخَّصَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ فِي الْعَزْلِ . وَقَالَ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْحُرَّةُ فِي الْعَزْلِ وَلاَ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الأَمَةُ .
Qutaibah and Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, they said, Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Ata, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, He said: We used to isolate ourselves while the Qur’an was being revealed. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Jabir is a good and authentic hadith, and it was narrated from him through more than one source. He authorized it. A group of people of knowledge, among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others, were in isolation. Malik ibn Anas said: A free woman should be appointed as a woman in isolation, but not The nation is being commanded...
