Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27296

Ibn Abi Umar told us, and Qutayba told us, they said, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Najih, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Qaza’ah, he is Ibn Yahya, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, said: He mentioned isolation in the presence of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “Why would any of you do that?” Ibn Abi Umar added in His hadith, and he did not say, “None of you should do that.” They said in their hadith, “For there is no created soul except Allah, its Creator.” He said. On the authority of Jabir, Abu Issa said that the hadith of Abu Saeed is a good and authentic hadith, and it was narrated in more than one way on the authority of Abu Saeed. He disliked it. The isolated people are a group of people of knowledge among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others.
