حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَهُوَ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ، أَنَّهَا اخْتَلَعَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرَهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - أَوْ أُمِرَتْ - أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ بِحَيْضَةٍ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ الرُّبَيِّعِ الصَّحِيحُ أَنَّهَا أُمِرَتْ أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ بِحَيْضَةٍ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Al-Fadl bin Musa told us, on the authority of Sufyan, Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman told us, and he is the client of Talha’s family. On the authority of Suleiman bin Yassar, on the authority of Al-Rabi’ bint Mu’awiz bin Afra, that she was divorced during the reign of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, so the Prophet ordered her to do so. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him - or she was commanded - to observe the waiting period for her menstrual period. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Ibn Abbas.
