Hadith #27517
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Dawud Al-Hafari narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan Al-Thawri, on the authority of Humaid, on the authority of Anas, who said: Some of the wives of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought food in a bowl to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Aisha hit the bowl with her hand and threw out what was in it, and he said The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “Food for food and vessel for vessel.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
