Hanad narrated to us, Abdah narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Jarir ibn Kulayb al-Nahdi, on the authority of Ali, who said that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade The limbs of the horn and the ear are sacrificed. Qatada said: I mentioned that to Sa`id ibn al-Musayyab, and he said that the limbs did not amount to half. Moreover, Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
