Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27669

Qutaibah narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abis bin Rabi’ah, who said: I said to the Mother of the Believers: Was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, And he forbade the meat of sacrificial animals. She said, “No,” but there were few people among the people who used to sacrifice, so he liked to be fed by those who did not sacrifice, and he had We used to remove the lamb and eat it after ten days. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. The mother of the believers is Aisha. The wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and this hadith was narrated from her through more than one authority.
