Hadith #27692
Hanad told us, Abdah told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah ibn Umar, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, caught up with Umar while he was in He rode while swearing by his father, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, God forbids you from swearing by your fathers so that the one who swears may swear.” “By God, or he will remain silent.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
