حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي نَفَرٍ مِنَ الأَشْعَرِيِّينَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَسْهَمَ لَنَا مَعَ الَّذِينَ افْتَتَحُوهَا . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ قَالَ الأَوْزَاعِيُّ مَنْ لَحِقَ بِالْمُسْلِمِينَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْهَمَ لِلْخَيْلِ أُسْهِمَ لَهُ . وَبُرَيْدٌ يُكْنَى أَبَا بُرَيْدَةَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَرَوَى عَنْهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَغَيْرُهُمَا .
Abu Sa`id al-Ashjaj narrated to us, Hafs bin Ghayath narrated to us, Burayd bin Abdullah bin Abi Burdah narrated to us, on the authority of his grandfather Abu Burdah, on the authority of Abu Moses said, “I came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, with a group of the Ash’arites at Khaybar, so he contributed for us with those who conquered it. This is A hasan ghareeb hadith. This is acted upon according to some people of knowledge. Al-Awza’i said: Whoever joins the Muslims before he shares the horses Shares were given to him. Burayd is nicknamed Abu Buraidah, and he is trustworthy, and Sufyan al-Thawri, Ibn Uyaynah and others narrated on his authority.
