Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27910

Qutaibah narrated to us, Abu Awanah narrated to us, on the authority of Omar bin Abi Salamah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said.” Change your gray hair and do not resemble the Jews. He said, and on the authority of Al-Zubayr, Ibn Abbas, Jabir, Abu Dharr, Anas, and Abu Rimthah, Al-Jahmadah, Abu Tufayl, Jabir bin Samurah, Abu Juhayfah, and Ibn Umar. Abu Issa said the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a hasan hadith. It is true and it was narrated through more than one authority, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
