Hadith #28001
Abdah bin Abdullah Al-Khuza’i told us, Muawiyah bin Hisham told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to eat watermelon with dates. He said, and on the authority of Anas. Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith.” . Some of them narrated it on the authority of Hisham ibn Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in a mursal form, but he did not mention it on the authority of Aisha. Yazid ibn Roman narrated this hadith, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha.
