Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28017

Ahmad ibn Mani’ told us, Ya’qub ibn al-Walid al-Madani told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhib, on the authority of al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, he said The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “Indeed, Satan is a sensitive toucher, so beware of him for yourselves. Whoever sleeps with the smell of deep water in his hand and something befalls him.” So he does not blame anyone but himself.” Abu Issa said, “This is a strange hadith from this perspective.” It was narrated from the hadith of Suhail bin Abi Salih. On the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
