Hadith #28130
Yahya bin Musa told us, he said, I said to Abd al-Rahim bin Harun al-Ghasani, Abd al-Aziz bin Abi Rawwad told you, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “If a servant tells a lie, the angel will move away from him a mile from the stench of what he brought.” Yahya said. Abd al-Rahim ibn Harun acknowledged it and said, “Yes.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith. We do not know it except in this way. It was unique.” It includes Abd al-Rahim bin Harun.
