Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28206

Muhammad bin Yahya told us, he said, Yazid bin Harun told us, he said, Abbad bin Mansour told us, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “Indeed, the best of what you can treat with is bloodworms, snuff, cupping, and walking, and the best of what you can apply kohl to yourself with is ithimid.” For it brightens the sight and makes hair grow.” He said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had an eyeliner that he used when sleeping, applying kohl three times to each eye.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith, and it is the hadith of Abbad bin Mansour.
