Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28255

Al-Fadl bin Al-Sabbah Al-Baghdadi told us, he said, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, he said, Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir told us, Jabir bin Abdullah heard, He says: I fell ill, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to visit me and found me fainting, so he came with Abu Bakr and Omar. While they were walking, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution and some of his ablution was poured on me, so I woke up and said, O Messenger of God, how do I spend my money or how do I do with it? My money, he did not answer me at all, and he had nine sisters until the verse on inheritance was revealed: (They ask you for a fatwa. Say, “God will give you a fatwa.”) In Al-Kalaala (the verse). Jabir said, “It was revealed about me.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
