Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28473

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Yahya bin Saeed narrated to us, Bahz bin Hakim narrated to us, my father narrated to me, on the authority of my grandfather, he said, I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, say “Woe to the one who tells a story to make people laugh, and then he lies. Woe to him, woe to him.” He said, and on the authority of my father Hurairah. He said, “This is a good hadith.”
