Hadith #28496
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ قَلْبُ الشَّيْخِ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ طُولُ الْحَيَاةِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْمَالِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Al-Qaqa’ bin Hakim, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace He said “The heart of a sheikh is young for the love of two women throughout life and abundant wealth.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
