Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28176

Ahmad bin Al-Hasan bin Kharash Al-Baghdadi told us, Hibban bin Hilal told us, Mubarak bin Fadalah told us, Abd Rabbuh bin Saeed, on the authority of Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, on the authority of Jabir, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, the one who is dearest to me and closest to me is The most excellent of you in morals on the Day of Resurrection, and the most hateful of you to me and the farthest of you from me. The gossipers on the Day of Resurrection. And the chatterboxes and the exaggerators. They said, “O Messenger of God, the chatterers and the extremists have taught us, but what about the extremists?” He said. “The arrogant ones.” Abu Issa said, and on the authority of Abu Hurairah, this is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. He narrated Some of them reported this hadith on the authority of Al-Mubarak bin Fadalah, on the authority of Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir, on the authority of Jabir, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and it did not mention a servant in it. His Lord Ibn Saeed, and this is more correct. Al-Thathar is the one who talks a lot and is a rant who speaks harshly to people and slanders them.
