Qutaibah narrated to us, Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Muhammad bin Sirin, he said: We were with Abu Hurairah and he was wearing two torn garments of Linen. So he blew his nose on one of them, then said, “Blow, Blow.” Abu Hurairah blew his nose on the linen. You saw me while I was falling asleep. The pulpit of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Aisha’s room. I fainted from hunger from hunger. Then the one who came came and put his foot on my neck. He saw that I was mad and what? I am mad and it is nothing but hunger. Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith from this perspective.
