Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28563

Ahmad bin Saeed al-Darimi told us, Muhammad bin Abbad told us, Hatem bin Ismail told us, Hamza bin Abi Muhammad told us, about Abdullah bin Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “Indeed, God Almighty said, ‘I have created a creation whose tongues Sweeter than honey, and their hearts are more bitter than patience. For by Me I have sworn that I will give them a trial that will leave the wise among them astonished. So will they be deceived by Me or will they dare against Me? “Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith from the hadith of Ibn Umar. We do not know it except through this route.
