حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا النَّجَاةُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ لِسَانَكَ وَلْيَسَعْكَ بَيْتُكَ وَابْكِ عَلَى خَطِيئَتِكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ‏.‏
Saleh bin Abdullah narrated to us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak narrated to us, H. Suwayd bin Nasr narrated to us, Ibn Al-Mubarak narrated to us, on the authority of Yahya Ibn Ayyub, on the authority of Ubayd Allah Ibn Zuhar, on the authority of Ali Ibn Yazid, on the authority of Al-Qasim, on the authority of Abu Umamah, on the authority of Uqba Ibn Amir, he said, O Messenger God, what is salvation? He said, “Control your tongue, and let your home contain you, and cry over your sin.” Abu Issa said this is a good hadith.
