Qutaibah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi’ah narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Amr Al-Maafiri, on the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman Al-Hubali, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “He who is silent will be saved.” Abu Issa said, “This is a strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of Ibn Lahi'a. Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubli is Abdullah bin Yazid.
