Hadith #28700
Abdullah bin Humaid told us, Abdullah bin Maslamah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muslim, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Anas bin Malik said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked what Al-Kawthar is.” He said, “That is a river that God has given me. I mean, in Paradise, it is whiter than milk.” And sweeter than honey therein are birds whose necks are like the necks of carrots.” Omar said, “These are soft.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said. “I ate it softer than it.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good hadith. Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muslim is the nephew of Ibn Shihab.” Al-Zuhri and Abdullah bin Muslim narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar and Anas bin Malik.
