Hadith #28716
Sufyan bin Wakee’ narrated to us, my father narrated to us, on the authority of Fudayl bin Marzuq, on the authority of Atiya, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, who narrates it. He said: “If the day Resurrection is brought with death like a salty ram, and it will be stopped between Paradise and Hell and slaughtered while they are watching. If someone had died with joy, he would have died. The people of Paradise, and if someone died of grief, the people of Hell would die.” Abu Issa said this is a good hadith.
