Hadith #28824
Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Khalil ibn Murrah, on the authority of Yahya ibn Abi Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, “He was a man from the Ansar.” He sat next to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he heard the hadith from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He liked it but did not memorize it, so he complained about this to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “O Messenger of God, I hear a hadith from you and I like it, but I do not memorize it.” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Seek help with your right hand.” And he gestured with his hand to the handwriting. And in the chapter on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr. Abu Issa said: This is a hadith, its chain of narration is not that. Al-Qaim. And I heard Muhammad bin Ismail say: Al-Khalil bin Murrah is a denier of hadith.
