Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29046

Sufyan bin Waki’ told us, he said Zayd bin Hubab told us, on the authority of Omar bin Abi Khath’am, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Whoever recites smoke smoke in the morning, seventy thousand angels will ask forgiveness for him.” Abu Hurairah said. Jesus, this is a strange hadith. We only know it from this perspective. And Omar bin Abi Khath’am is considered weak. Muhammad said, and he denies the hadith.
