Hadith #29132
Ali bin Hajar told us, Ismail bin Ibrahim told us, on the authority of Ayoub, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Abi Laila, on the authority of Ka’b Ibn Ujrah said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to me while I was making a stove under a pot and lice were strewn across my forehead, or rather my eyebrows.” He said, “ Do the vermin of your head bother you? He said, “Yes.” He said, “Then shave your head and practice your rituals, or fast for three days, or eat food.” “Six poor people.” Ayoub said, “I do not know with which of them he started.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
