Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Bara’ bin Azib, he said when it was revealed: (No Those who sit are equal from among the believers.) Amr ibn Umm Maktum came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace - he said, and he was blind, so he said: Oh Messenger of God, “What do you command me to do? I am blind.” So God Almighty revealed this verse: (Not worthy of harm.) The verse. Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said. “Bring me the shoulder and the inkwell, or the tablet and the inkwell.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. It is also called Amr. Ibn Umm Maktoum, and it is called Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktoum, and he is Abdullah bin Zaida and Umm Maktoum is his mother.
