حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّفَرِ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ آخِرُ آيَةٍ أُنْزِلَتْ أَوْ آخِرُ شَيْءٍ نَزَلَ : ( يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ ) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَأَبُو السَّفَرِ اسْمُهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَيُقَالُ ابْنُ يُحْمِدَ .
Abd bin Humayd told us, Abu Nu’aym told us, Malik bin Mughul told us, on the authority of Abul-Safar, on the authority of Al-Bara’, he said the last verse was revealed or The last thing that was revealed: (They ask you for a fatwa. Say, “Allah gives you a fatwa regarding the calamity.”) Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith, and the father of the book is Saeed. Ibn Ahmad Al-Thawri, also called Ibn Ahmad.
