Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, Abu Dawud Al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Suleiman bin Muadh narrated to us, on the authority of Sammak, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, He said: Sawda was afraid that he would divorce her. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not divorce me, but keep me and leave my day for Aisha.” So he did. Then it was revealed: (There is no blame on them if they make peace between themselves, and peace is best.) Whatever they have agreed upon is permissible as if it were From the words of Ibn Abbas. Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.
