Hadith #29212
Amr bin Ali Abu Hafs Al-Fallas narrated to us, Abu Asim narrated to us, Othman bin Saad narrated to us, Ikrimah narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that A man came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, “O Messenger of God, when I eat meat, I go out to women, and my desire takes hold of me, so I am forbidden.” On meat. Then God revealed: (O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things that God has made lawful to you, and do not transgress. Indeed, God does not like transgressors, and eat of what God has provided for you, lawful and good.) He said: This is a good and strange hadith. Some of them narrated it on the authority of Uthman bin Saad is mursal, but there is no mursal narration on the authority of Ibn Abbas, and it was narrated by Khalid al-Hadha on the authority of Ikrimah mursal.
