حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ كَانَ رَبُّنَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ
" كَانَ فِي عَمَاءٍ مَا تَحْتَهُ هَوَاءٌ وَمَا فَوْقَهُ هَوَاءٌ وَخَلَقَ عَرْشَهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ " . قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْعَمَاءُ أَىْ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ شَيْءٌ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَكَذَا رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَكِيعُ بْنُ حُدُسٍ وَيَقُولُ شُعْبَةُ وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَهُشَيْمٌ وَكِيعُ بْنُ عُدُسٍ وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ وَأَبُو رَزِينٍ اسْمُهُ لَقِيطُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Yazid bin Harun told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Ya’la bin Ata’, on the authority of Waki’ bin Hadas, on the authority of His uncle, Abu Razin, said: I said, O Messenger of God, where was our Lord before He created His creation? He said: “There was a darkness with under it no air and no Above him air and created His throne upon the water.” Ahmad ibn Mani’ said, “Yazid ibn Harun said, ‘The blind,’ that is, there is nothing with him. Abu Issa said. Thus narrated by Hammad bin Salamah, Waki` bin Hadas, and Shu`bah, Abu Awanah, Hushaym, Waki` bin Adas, who is more correct, and Abu Razin say His name is a bastard Ibn Amir said: This is a hasan hadith.
