Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29289
Hadith #29289
Ishaq bin Mansour told us, Abdul Razzaq told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was brought with lightning. The night he was captured, bridled and saddled, it became difficult for him, so Gabriel said to him, “You are doing this, for no one more generous has mounted you.” God from him said, “So he rejected a vein.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith, and we do not know it except from the hadith of Abd al-Razzaq.”
