Hadith #29408
Abu Hafs narrated to us, Amr bin Ali Al-Fallas narrated to us, Abu Qutayba narrated to us, Salam bin Qutayba narrated to us, Suhail bin Abi Hazm Al-Quti narrated to us, Thabit Al-Bunani, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, read: (Indeed, those who said, “Our Lord is God, then They were upright.) He said, “The people said, then most of them disbelieved, so whoever dies in accordance with it is among those who were upright.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. We do not know him except from this perspective. I heard Abu Zur’ah say: Affan narrated a hadith on the authority of Amr ibn Ali, and it is narrated in this verse on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr and Omar, may God be pleased with them, meaning they remained upright.
