Hadith #29422
Abd bin Humayd told us, Sulayman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, that eighty people descended on the Messenger of God. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his companions from Jabal al-Tana’im at the morning prayer, and they wanted to kill him, so they seized him, so he freed them. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and God revealed: (He is the one who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them) the verse. Abu Issa said this. A good and authentic hadith
