Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29421

Abdul bin Humaid told us, Abdul Razzaq told us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, who said: It was revealed to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: (So that God may forgive you for your past sins and future sins.) His reference is from Al-Hudaybiyyah, where the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed A verse more beloved to me than anything on earth was revealed to me, then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, recited it to them, and they said: Congratulations, O Prophet of God. God has made clear to you what be done to you, so what will be done to us? Then it was revealed to him: (That He may admit the believing men and believing women into Gardens flowing from Beneath them are the rivers) until he achieved: (a great victory) He said: This is a good and authentic hadith, and it contains it on the authority of Mujma’ bin Jariyah.
