Jami` at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #30060

Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, he said, Hushaym told us, he said, Ali bin Zaid bin Jud’an told us, he said, Al-Nadhar bin Anas told us, on the authority of Zaid. Ibn Arqam, that he wrote to Anas Ibn Malik condoling him regarding whoever of his family and cousins was injured on the day of Al-Harrah, so he wrote to him: I bring you good news. With good news from God, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “O God, forgive the Ansar and the descendants of the Ansar and the descendants of their descendants.” This is a hasan and authentic hadith. Qatada narrated it on the authority of An-Nadr ibn Anas, on the authority of Zayd ibn Arqam.
