حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ انْتَهَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ ( أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ) قَالَ " يَقُولُ ابْنُ آدَمَ مَالِي مَالِي وَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالِكَ إِلاَّ مَا تَصَدَّقْتَ فَأَمْضَيْتَ أَوْ أَكَلْتَ فَأَفْنَيْتَ أَوْ لَبِسْتَ فَأَبْلَيْتَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Wahb bin Jarir narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Mutarrif bin Abdullah bin Al-Shakhir, on the authority of His father, he came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, while he was reciting (You have been inspired by multiplication) and said, “The son of Adam says, ‘I have wealth, I have wealth, and do you have any “You have nothing but what you gave in charity and you spent your time, or you ate and you were good, or you put on clothes and you did well.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
