Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29515

Abd bin Humaid told us, Ahmad bin Yunus told us, on the authority of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said when this verse was revealed: (Then you will be asked about that day about bliss.) The people said, O Messenger of God, about what bliss will we be asked? But they are the two lions, and the enemy is present, and our swords are on our shoulders. He said, “That will happen.” Abu Issa said, and the hadith of Ibn Uyaynah on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, in my opinion, is more authentic than this. Sufyan bin Uyaynah memorized and more authentic hadith than Abu Bakr bin Ayyash.
