Hadith #29543
Nasr bin Abdul Rahman al-Kufi told us, Abu Qatn told us, on the authority of Hamza al-Zayat, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Sa`id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of Ubayy bin Ka’b, that whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, mentioned someone and prayed for him, he would start with himself. Abu Issa said this. It is a hasan ghareeb and authentic hadith, and Abu Qatn’s name is Amr ibn al-Haytham.
