Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29560

Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Mufaddal bin Fadalah narrated to us, on the authority of Aqeel, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was He went to bed every night, holding his hands together, then blew on them and recited in them: (Say, He is Allah, One) and: (Say, I seek refuge By the Lord of creation) and: (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind) Then he wipes with them as much of his body as he can, beginning with his head and face with them. And what is near his body, he does that three times. He said: This is a good, strange, and authentic hadith.
