Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26737

Qutaibah narrated to us, Muhammad bin Yazid bin Khunais narrated to us, Al-Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ubayd Allah bin Abi Yazid narrated to us, he said, Ibn Gregory, Hassan, Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Yazid told me, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: A man came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, O Messenger By God, tonight while I was sleeping, you saw me as if I was praying behind a tree, so I prostrated, and the tree prostrated as I prostrated, so I heard it saying, O God Record for me a reward for it with You, and relieve me of a burden for it, and make it for me a reserve with You, and accept it from me as you accepted it from your servant. Dawud. Al-Hasan said. Ibn Jurayj said to me. Your grandfather told me. Ibn Abbas said. So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, recited a prostration and then prostrated. He said. Ibn Abbas said. Abbas, so I heard him saying something like what the man told him about the tree. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Abu Saeed. Abu Issa said. This is a good and strange hadith from the hadith of Ibn Abbas. We do not know it except from this perspective.
