Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29600
Hadith #29600
Ahmad bin Abi Ubayd Allah Al-Sulaimi Al-Basri told us, Abu Qutaibah, Salam bin Qutayba told us, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman bin Yazid bin Umayyah, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, bid farewell to a man, he would take him by the hand and would not let go of it. Until the man was the one who touched the hand of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, “I entrust to God your religion, your trustworthiness, and your final deeds.” He said, “This is a strange hadith.” From this perspective. This hadith was narrated through more than one authority, on the authority of Ibn Umar.
