Hadith #29617
Qutayba bin Saeed narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Ja’far bin Rabi’ah, on the authority of Al-Araj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said “If you hear a rooster crow, ask God for His bounty, for it has seen an angel, and if you hear a donkey braying So seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan, for he has seen a Satan.” He said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
