Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27874

God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “O Messenger of God, we are the ones fleeing.” He said, “Rather, you are the Ikkarun, and I am your group.” Abu Issa said this. A good hadith that we do not know of except from the hadith of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad. The meaning of his saying, “So the people were besieged for a period,” means that they fled from Fighting. The meaning of his saying is “Rather, you are the Akkars.” And the Akkars who flee to his imam to support him do not want to flee from the advance. .
