Hadith #27874
Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: We sent The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was in a troop, and the people were cautious. Then we approached Medina and hid ourselves there and said, “We are destroyed.” Then we came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “O Messenger of God, we are the ones fleeing.” He said, “Rather, you are the Ikkarun, and I am your group.” Abu Issa said this. A good hadith that we do not know of except from the hadith of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad. The meaning of his saying, “So the people were besieged for a period,” means that they fled from Fighting. The meaning of his saying is “Rather, you are the Akkars.” And the Akkars who flee to his imam to support him do not want to flee from the advance. .
