Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29631

Qutayba bin Saeed narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Khalil bin Murrah, on the authority of Al-Azhar bin Abdullah, on the authority of Tamim Al-Dari, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Whoever says, ‘I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, He has one God, one and steadfast,’ has not taken She has no companion or child, and there is no equal to him eleven times. God has recorded for him forty thousand good deeds.” He said, “This is a strange hadith.” We know him only from this perspective. Al-Khalil ibn Murrah is not strong according to the scholars of hadith. Muhammad ibn Ismail said he is Denial of Hadith.
