Hadith #28268
Qutaybah, Ahmad bin Mani’, and more than one person narrated to us. They said: Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, he said: Omar said that the blood money is obligatory for an unmarried woman, and the woman does not inherit anything from her husband’s blood money. Al-Dahhak ibn Sufyan Al-Kalabi told him that The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wrote to him about inheriting the wife of Ashim al-Dhababi from her husband’s blood money. Abu Issa said this is a good and authentic hadith.
